Brian Atkinson
Owner’s representative and construction advisor. Twenty years in the industry, now working exclusively for the owner.
My background in construction started in the field — heavy construction, historic restorations, and luxury custom builds — before moving into the project management and advisory side of the business. That hands-on experience means I can have a real conversation with your GC about what something costs and why.
As a licensed GC, I understand contracts, scope, and scheduling from the inside. As an owner’s rep, I use that knowledge exclusively to protect the client — not to win the next job.
I’ve managed projects alongside many of the region’s most respected architects and designers. That network matters when it comes time to assemble a team for your project.
I take on a very limited number of engagements each year. One or two at a time. You get direct access, not a coordinator.

My Approach
I believe well-run projects come down to one thing: clear expectations. Most of the chaos in luxury residential construction comes from information gaps — so I focus heavily on upfront planning, transparent communication, and realistic budgeting.
I don’t present lowball numbers to get in the door. I build budgets that are accurate, defensible, and properly contingencied. The sooner you understand the real costs of your project, the more control you have.
When everyone on the team understands scope, the “why” behind decisions, and how changes affect cost and schedule — projects run smoother and the result is better.
